Magnificent Matlock Rally

Another chance to join us in this beautiful location situated in on the edge of the Peak District national park in a beautiful valley bordered by the river Derwent and Cromford Canal. Very popular with those who attended previously, this club site is located near the small historic village of Cromford, which was largely built by Richard Arkwright for his workers at the nearby cotton mill. The village has 3 pubs and two excellent restaurants. As previously there will be some optional organised events and some free days to explore on your own. Locations such as Chatsworth House, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath (Gulliver’s Kingdom) and the Peak District National Park are all within easy reach. Regular buses and trains are within walking distance.

We will have full access to facilities including toilets, hot showers (communal) and a hall for evening gatherings.  The site is well drained, no electrics but battery charging is available, and generators are permitted.
